BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Volunteers Maintenance Day
We have a fantastic team of volunteers who help us with a range of jobs. We set up a marquee for shade, bring the boats out from the shed, set up the boats and put them into the water, sail the boats, ensure that everyone signs in, operate the radio, drive and observe on the safety boat, and at the end of our day's sailing, do all this in reverse.

You don't have to be a sailor to be a volunteer, landlubbers are most welcome too. And some of our volunteers are themselves disabled.

PictureVolunteers on Sailing Day
Volunteering for Sailability Batemans Bay will give you many amazing personal rewards... for starters, what better way of spending a few hours on a Sunday or Monday than on the beautiful Clyde River at Nelligen? And you'll find that you will grow as a person through meeting and interacting with a diverse range of wonderful and inspiring people with various disabilities. If you're not a sailor don't let that stop you - we have numerous things that need doing on the beach and we're happy to take you for a sail or even train you to become a sailor if you wish.

To become a volunteer, either contact any of our executive members listed below, or simply turn up on one of our sailing days. You can be sure you will receive a warm welcome.
